Not super exciting I know but kinda important and worth it because I found out that I actually got a solid 100% on my first test and my stats buddy gave me a sweet celebration of life day card telling me how cool I am.(he's pretty cool for making the card). I knew my day was going to be good--I mean how could it not be it's a day celebrating me that I made up--but surprisingly going to stats lab put the chocolate on the cream puff (I don't like frosting on my cake ;)).
Sadly I only got a 93% on the test I took today (still got a happy comment though). I knew my score would be a disappointment before I took the test because I couldn't improve on my previous score. I also had a bet with my stats buddy on who would do better on the test, and I lost, so I owe him dinner.
Make Mini Fruit Tarts
Cassie and Allen got me a mini muffin pan as a Celebration of Life/Birthday/Pre-Thanks for doing wedding desserts gift. With it I made cute mini tarts, which were tedious but I have been told they were rather delicious. I wouldn't know because I haven't been able to eat one yet.

| I shouldn't have waited to eat one until after football...see below. |
Go to Golf Class
My friend from Organic Chemistry is taking golf with me and when we have to drive to the golf course we always go together. We just practiced our putting and chipping and had putting competitions, of which I won! This is pretty impressive because I have previously been really terrible when it came to putts. Also I was using cute bright pink balls, if I'm going to be the only girl in the class I might as well embrace it.
Eat Popcorn Chicken
This was the last real meal I had before surgery, besides the one pancake I had the morning of. I looked on KFC's website and they said the still had popcorn chicken(last year they told me KFC no longer serves popcorn chicken) so I went KFC and was informed KFCs in Utah do not have popcorn chicken...lame. So instead I went to Sonic.
"Play" Football
I was told in class this week to be weary of putting quotations around a word, but I really do mean to draw the term play into question. We got to the field and the other team only had 5 players, just enough to play. I lost the coin toss, so the other team started on offense. Upfront they said they would play for a little while and then forfeit, and when they said little they meant it, after 3 downs they punted it and following the punt return they called a forfeit. So instead we took team photos.

| We're really not that intense...well the girl on the right was the first girl I gave a black eye. |
When I pushed the boundaries they pushed right back.
They didn't call the forfeit because we scored a touch down on the punt return, however when I first caught the ball it appeared like I would have a good run. But three girls on the other team decided to run into me as they attempted to pull my flag with the middle girl lowering her head so her brow bone rammed into my mouth. She got a nice cut and probably a black eye(the second one that has come from an eye being slammed into my head) My tooth got knocked pretty hard, thankfully the tooth is still in my mouth and after 2 hours the bleeding stopped but I haven't gotten enough guts to touch it, or eat anything (I had a Jamba Juice for lunch today) because I'm afraid it's loose. I always seem to be the one involved in the injuries and the injury always seems to centered around my head.

Definitely not an attractive photo, but my mouth was still bleeding.
WATCH HARRY POTTER!
I'm fully aware i'm a nerd(as seen by my calculation of my probability of going on a date this weekend, or when I use the phrase with every myosin in my muscle instead of fiber of my being). This year I showed it even more by dressing up for Harry Potter, I did not take any pictures of us at the theaters because I had gauze in my mouth not really attractive as seen above (there were pictures taken at the Harry Potter party I went to the night before. The movie was fantastic, I never cried but tears started to well up when Snape was dying (and during his memory) and when Harry walks in and sees the Weasleys mourning the loss of George(I can't imagine losing my twin).
edit: It was Fred that died, apparently I was too emotional to get it straight.

1. You are awesome.
ReplyDelete2. Even with gauze in your mouth I still think you're rather attractive.
3. Fred dies... not George. George only lost his ear.
and finally...
4. I love you 2 ton plus more.(My more is greater than or equal to your more which means I love you more then you love me)
