When I woke up this morning, I found that I was the only one home and that Cassie was already up and gone. It turned out that she was at her boyfriend’s football game. When she got home I was checking my email and it informed me that there would be free JDawgs at the tennis match and that was reason enough for me to go. We got there and went straight to the line for food. We stayed and watched a couple sets (long enough to eat our giant hotdog and I’m a kind of slow eater, also to not appear as a mouch I would like to bring up that the match we were watching ended REALLY quick because the Utah player blew out his knee, which was mostly sad because injured players are never good no matter the team but we did get the win. However that would probably have happened without the injury). It was a little cold, so Cassie and I ventured indoors and we were kind of thirsty so we wanted to find a water fountain. On our way to the Smith Fieldhouse we saw a rugby game going on and decided to check it out before we went back to the Tennis Match. We spent about 20 min. watching the game, it was twenty minutes of confusion because I have no idea how the game of rugby works. All I know is BYU won, at least they had more points than the other team at the end of the game. The quarterfinals for men’s volleyball started at 7 and I wanted seats on the court so I got there at about 5:43 and watched them warm up for an hour and a half, the warm ups are kind of my favorite part of most sports, the athletic ability astounds me. BYU played UC Santa Barbara and we lost 1-3 but we did get a picture when the scoreboard showed us winning and it was during the set we actually won.

I LOVE Men’s Volleyball, the players are tall and beautiful (overall cuter than basketball players in my opinion), once again the astounding athletic ability, and from my experiences they are some of the nicest athletes, not quite as egotistical (maybe because it’s not as big as football or basketball) However it is incredibly fun to watch. It’s difficult to say but I’m going to go out on a limb and say my favorite athlete at BYU that I have met plays volleyball (I know some really awesome football players) and I think I’ve met an athlete from every sport played at BYU(maybe not tennis). Anyway I love Men’s Volleyball and I’m sad the season is over.
