Keeping up with Classes

In the period of 24 hours I have had to turn in 3 papers. Now to be honest they weren't really papers because they were only one to two pages of mostly my opinion, but I am a science major for a reason. This semester I'm taking the second half of Organic Chemistry and the second half of Basic Physics. Although my OChem teacher has a thick Korean accent and the class itself is very challenging and takes a lot of work I would choose it over Physics any day. There is something about Organic Chemistry that I love, although I can't figure out what it is. This semester I have also started taking classes for my unofficial minor (I haven't declared it yet because I wanted to see if the classes I had to take for it were worth it) For Non-Profit Management I am taking Leisure in Contemporary Society and Grant Writing. Looking at the names of both of them one might assume the first would be the more exciting class to take and that is where you are wrong my friend. It is not very fun to sit in class for an hour and a half and discuss fun activities that you like to do and how they are helping you develop, when you could be spending that hour and a half in leisure. My Grant Writing class is from 7-8:30 at night (and I can already tell that once the cold weather comes and it is REALLY dark at that time of night I am going to hate my life). If you simply look at that it sounds like it would be miserable, but I am actually kind of enjoying it. My teacher is very enthusiastic and does things to help make the class enjoyable. For the class I am helping to write a grant to get funding for Camp Kesem which is a camp for children who's parents had cancer or are currently dealing with cancer. It provides a week long camp for children free of charge to help relieve the stress they are currently going through and it provides them an opportunity to be around kids who have gone through or that are going through a lot of the same things they are. Finally my fun classes are Mission Prep and Volleyball. I am taking mission prep because I really wanted Brother Bott for a teacher, he was the highest ranked teacher in the nation on ratemyprofessor two years ago, but he only teaches mission prep and doctrine and covenants and since I already took doctrine and covenants that left me with mission prep. I don't plan on going on a mission but it's been really interesting and I've heard from some that by the time you are done with the semester even if you didn't want to go on one to start with you feel an internal push to start filling out your papers. And i'm pretty sure why i'm taking volleyball is pretty self explanatory if you know me at all.
