I miss Max Hall...

Real quick, although he was opinionated, he was good. I guess I should be grateful he is with Cardinals but they should hurry up and start him. More on football later.

So I guess the goal to blog weekly has already been thrown out the window, but I will continue to try. Last week I planned on blogging and then I don't know what happened. Last Monday I gave blood and for being able to give blood in 5 minutes and 53 seconds it sure took a long time. I was in there for over an hour. The girl that inserted the needle was learning still so it took a while and I have a rather large bruise on my arm from it. I guess they decided to give the experienced girl to the guy who was giving blood for the first time. It was also a little weird because the room they did the blood donation in is the same room I have church in on Sunday. Monday night it was my turn to cook for my dinner group and I made Calabacitas con Pollo even though I had to change my method of cooking it, it still turned out pretty good. After dinner I went to FHE and we played whipple which is a game where all you do is hit people with rolled up newspaper, then we played a game where we had to pick up a box(we used a vanilla wafer box) with our teeth while standing on one leg and our arms could not touch the ground. I was pretty darn good at it because I am rather flexible and my long torso compared to my average legs probably didn't hinder my ability at all.
Friday our old home teacher from Raintree,he was pretty much the greatest home teacher i've had, maybe, all of the home teachers I have had that I actually saw have been pretty awesome. Anyways he invited us to go to a BYU Student Film Association activity where we watched student films like this one.

Saturday I went to the football game, which only made me sad because BYU is not any good this year, our team is REALLY young. The quarterback who replaced Max Hall when he graduated is a true freshman and we don't have Harvey Unga because he got himself kicked out of BYU. Hopefully it will just be this year that is a rebuilding year but I'm starting to think it is not possible for me to cheer for a winning football team. So after the game I went home and made snickerdoodles while listening to Michael Buble and they were probably the best batch of snickerdoodles I have made so far. Maybe one day mine will taste as good as my Numero Dos.

So I skipped out on the opportunity to go up to Salt Lake to watch the General Relief Society meeting so I could go to the football game (maybe not my best choice) but I watched the rebroadcast on Sunday and it was a great meeting. If you have not watched it yet, you should, no matter what gender you are. And I suggest watching it because seeing President Monson stand up and go to the podium is almost as good as his talk, and his facial expressions are priceless.
