Guess who finally found her camera

oh that would be me. It wasn't in my golf bag this time. Nope, it was in my intramural treat bag, don't know how it got in there.

I promised I would post pictures of the Calvin and Hobbes snowmen when I found my camera. Mostly because I want to show how awesome Katie and I are.  So here they are, FYI taking a picture of a window in the dark, when you're wanting to show the white snowmen, with a background of white curtains is not the easiest thing to do so forgive me of the bad picture.

Sometimes Katie and I like to think we are artists. (Oh wait...we are. Katie is an art major and I've painted giraffe print and a giant Thomas the Train on walls before) We also have friends that painted on our window, Katie and I would NEVER paint a nude snowman descending a staircase, or a backwards anatomically correct snowman ;)

If demented snowmen on our windows didn't make us cool enough than when someone walks into our kitchen they will find out just how awesome we are. We are still stealing menus and I got 2 menus over Christmas break. One from Little Anthony's Diner when we went on our family date and one from Jack Stack Barbecue in Kansas City. You can't tell from the picture just how big the barbecue menu is but let me tell ya, that thing was not easy to sneak out because it is massive. At least the size of two full size menus.

After they see the menu's their attention is turned to our flow chart, the picture is not the easiest to read but believe me it's funny. I mean what else would it be if my roommates and I made it. I have to give credit for this to my roommate Britney, she showed us the flowchart and Katie and I decided it needed to be on our wall, so we made it.

The last thing that's awesome about our kitchen, well the oven of course. We got a new oven right before I left for break and so I didn't get to a chance to try it out before I left, but there's no need to worry, I made Nutella and Sea Salt stuffed Sugar Cookies on Saturday and they turned out great. The only downside right now is that it's not balanced on our floor, hence there is a phone book underneath the oven. We'll get a piece of wood (or something) to balance it out soon enough. I still need to make cream puffs to truly test how it cooks, but if the cookies were any indication, the oven works well because the cookies tasted amazing.

  1. Thought that you always asked permission to take the menus?

  2. Oh I do, but you still sneak out with it to make it fun.
