"You kill it! You're the man! Er...The...Bigger...Man!"-Viola(a girl) acting as Sebastian(her brother) in She's the Man.
[Roommate sees spider] Roommate: Alison there's an ugly spider, kill it!
Me: Why me?
Roommate: Because your like the man in this apartment
[I kill the spider]
Roommate: Gross
[We then head to my football game]
Sadly(maybe) to admit, my roommate is right. Sometimes I feel like I fit in better with guys, why would I say that well lets explore.
-Flag Football brings me an incredible amount of joy, so much that usually when I get done with a game, I sometimes wish I was born a boy so I could have played in high school. (it's probably best I didn't because the ban from full contact sports would have been so much harder)
-I'm a Neuroscience major and all of my classes are filled with...you guessed it guys.
-In my golf class this semester I am the ONLY girl
-I'm a little sad to admit that there have been multiple semesters, where I wore sweats or basketball shorts and a t-shirt more that 50% of the time to class and that doesn't count when I wore jeans and a t-shirt.(this is something i'm working on)
-I'm pretty sure I have more college t-shirts than dressier shirts
-I know my fair share about cars, so maybe not about the inside of them, but I can out name the type of car over most girls, and quite a few guys. If one of my roommates wants to know what type of car we just passed they ask me.
-I usually will go for an action or sports movie over a chick flick
-I'm REALLY competitive (something I'm trying to tone down)
-I prefer drinking out of big plastic cups (don't really think this is guy like but one time I was told by a guy that guy's like plastic cups better while usually girl's like glass ones, I'm not convinced)
-I love ESPN, it is right next to Facebook and my email in most visited pages. I've been in situations in class where a girl is sitting next to me looking at cute shoes or dresses on her laptop compared to when a guy is sitting next to me on ESPN. The laptop with ESPN is MUCH more distracting.
Even with the "guy" list there is no cause for concern
-Guys don't usually bake after bad losses in sports.
-Sometimes the only thing that got me to my early morning science classes was knowing I was going to a class with a lot of attractive single guys
-I got into golf because I thought golf clothes were cute and like the idea of hitting a pink ball
-Although I have lots of t-shirts I also have lots of different colored camis, so I can match my clothes with the colored flower in my hair.
-I love shoes, this does include tennis shoes, but besides my comfortable Adidas sandals, my next best purchase was my tall magenta wedges that were 7 dollars on clearance.
-If I didn't pick up a little bit of cars from being born into my Dad's family, well that would mean I have no memory because if I were to have just toned out all car discussion probably ovee half of my family time would be blank.
-I cry hard core in movies, I watched Soul Surfer yesterday with people in my ward and through the 'cheese' I still cried multiple times.
-I went to see the Justin Bieber movie and LOVED it! (He has 1.75 Billion views on his VEVO channel, and then has enough view on his original channel to reach 2 Billion)
-Competitiveness isn't restricted to guys, it might just be a little more common, I also blame my competitiveness on being a twin.
-After ESPN on my visited sites is my blog dashboard, from which I follow lots of craft and baking blogs
-And I'm very attracted to guys, if that wasn't already clear from my comment about why I sometimes attend class.
So I guess once again I'm going to conclude that I'm just a well rounded Renaissance woMan.
