June Jumble

Wow this month has really flown by, and I have seemed to abandon my blog. It has been a very full but fun month so far. I only have one picture to show for the things I've done, sorry (and I didn't even take it, i'm stealing it from Facebook/another blog). I have some more on my phone but I don't know how to get them off of my phone so it will just have to do.

First, I officially feel like an adult I have my own 2 gallon Igloo, now I don't have to serve drinks at parties in a ghetto soup pot with a plastic cup that isn't being used!

Second, want a good breakfast? These are fantastic! An Idaho Sunrise: Egg-Stuffed Potato. James and I made them last Sunday for Breakfast. I even have a crazy picture of us eating them but alas it's on my phone.

Missionary stuff- My awesome roommate got her mission call to the Maryland Baltimore mission and I wrote my first missionary letter in quite sometime but have still yet to mail it, because I can't find the whole book of stamps I bought 2 weeks ago and I'm not going to spend money to mail it when I already have stamps somewhere. More on missionary, James had a mission reunion last Friday, James is quiet so it was kind of weird because I didn't know anyone to talk to so we stood there knowing very few people for most of the time we were there, but as we were leaving I saw Noel, a girl that used to visit teach me back in Sierra Vista, she went to the same mission. We also went to one of his mission trainers wedding reception this past Tuesday, it was all the way in Brigham City but I really didn't mind the car ride, it's just more time for us to spend together and talk.

On the way back from the wedding reception we stopped in American Fork to visit his sister in the hospital because guess what...SHE HAD TWINS. I love twins, not like I'm biased or anything. Also I haven't been able to hold either of my nieces as newborns in the hospital, so it was nice even if they weren't my nephews.

Lastly, last night I made Delicious Crock-Pot Pork Chop
I just buy what ever Pork Chop is on sale, this time it was bone-in sirloin chops.
I do a quick floured pan fry to start them cooking and get that delicious flavor. And then I put them in the crock-pot with a tasty sauce. The amount of sauce varies depending on how many pork chops I have. But the ratio I use is

1 TBSP Soy Sauce
1 TBSP Worcestershire Sauce
1 TBSP Vegetable Oil
1 Tsp Lemon Juice
2 TBSP Ketchup
2 TBSP Brown Sugar

This time I multiplied it by 5ish. Then I serve it with REAL mashed potatoes. James is kind of obsessed with onions so I sauteed some onions and put them in with the pork chops at the end because I didn't think about it earlier. Hmmm, I'm almost drooling on the keyboard, except that I'm eating lunch while doing this so there is no need to drool. Well lunch is over.

Also, I went to a Dave Barnes/Talent Search concert on Wednesday that AFF was putting on. Dave Barnes is now one of my new favorite artists.
